Small Group Leader Position
Investing in students through relationships, mentorship,
faith, and the performing arts.

Role Description
Small Group Leaders play an important role in helping K2K Productions fulfill its mission of helping young people discover who they are, where they fit, and their purpose through faith, mentorship, and the performing arts.
Each Small Group Leader is entrusted with a consistent group of students throughout the season, intentionally building relationships that encourage confidence, belonging, character, and faith. While students participate in rehearsals, performances, and activities, Small Group Leaders help ensure every child feels welcomed, known, valued, and supported.
This role extends beyond supervision. It is an opportunity to encourage, listen, celebrate, pray with students, and help create a safe and positive environment where every student can thrive.
At K2K Productions, we believe students grow best when they are surrounded by caring leaders who know their names, notice their gifts, encourage them through challenges, and remind them of their value.

What Success Looks Like
Success begins with relationships. A successful Small Group Leader helps every student feel known, welcomed, encouraged, and valued while creating an environment where they can build confidence, develop friendships, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given potential.
A successful Small Group Leader helps students leave each week feeling:
- Known.
- Safe.
- Encouraged.
- Included.
- Challenged to grow.
- Confident in themselves and their abilities.
- Growing in their friendships and sense of belonging.
- Developing their performing arts skills and talents.
- Reminded that they are deeply valued and created with purpose.
While we strive for excellence and celebrate high-quality performances, success is measured by far more than a great production. As students grow in confidence, character, relationships, faith, and artistic ability throughout the season, the production becomes a joyful reflection of that growth and the visible celebration of all they have accomplished together.
