WHAT YOUR STUDENT REQUIRES BEFORE APRIL 7
1. CLOTHING & SHOES
- All costume pieces will stay on-site at all times and are property of K2K Productions
- Costumes will be cleaned / refreshed, as needed throughout the show season
- Food & drinks are NOT be consumed while in costume or in the dressing room. If not followed, a student may be removed from performance.
Shoes & Socks, Jungle Ensemble, CAT & THINGS ONLY
- Black dance shoes, or all-black shoes with black treads. NO other markings.
- Label students shoe inside with their name
- Black Socks. Ankle or no show is best.

Shoes, Who Ensemble ONLY
- White sneakers, all-white shoes with NO markings, designs or black treads
- Label students name inside shoe
- white socks - no show or ankle length
Under Clothes
If your student is more comfortable in the dressing room wearing "under clothes" they may wear tighter fitting camisole, undershirt in addition to their underwear. Preferably black or skin color (for this year and any theatre in years to come)
Bike Shorts are required for WHO ensemble (optional for those who do not have leggings for their costume) ie. shorts cannot be worn with leggings
Bike shorts can be worn by others if more comfortable doing so in dressing room.
These items must be LABELLED & BROUGHT ON SITE by April 7 (YOPP Cast) or April 10 (POPP Cast). You are invited to bring these in the week prior -all labelled items will be stored in your students costume box until closing night.
2. HAIR & MAKE UP
Every student is to arrive for call times with hair & make up completed at home starting April 7 (YOPP) and April 10 (POPP) and every rehearsal & performance until April 18
Keep hair and make up requirements the same for every rehearsal, dress rehearsal and show date.
MAKE UP for all cast members starting April 7 or 10:
foundation
cheek and lips (neutral)
mascara
eye liner
Touch ups and details will be added on-site, if necessary or needed for character. Please send personal make up to & from shows in a labelled baggie.
HAIR for all cast members starting April 7 or 10:
WICKERSHAMS: hair slicked back OR low pony and slicked back
CAT IN THE HAT: hair gelled and slicked back, low pony
THING 1 & 2: hair slicked back
YERTLE: hair slicked back. Wig attached on site.
MARSHALL: hair slicked back, low pony / braid pinned at base
MRS MAYOR: low pig tails, or low braids. Can be curled or braided
HORTON: hair slicked back. Hat added on-site
VLAD: hair natural; a hat will be worn
Touch ups and details will be added on-site, if necessary or needed for character.
WHO ENSEMBLE: space buns pulled tight and hair slicked (no fly-aways). Accessories will be added on-site
GERTRUDE: curly pigtails, or curly side pony
JUNGLE CITIZENS:
select a 'spice-girl' style below and keep same for all dates.
.JUNGLE ENSEMBLE / FISH ENSEMBLE:
select an option below and make sure hair is slicked back. Hat added on-site.
KANGAROOS: hair in pigtails, space buns or bantu knots.
YOUNG KANGAROO:
MAYZIE: hair in a severe, tight bun. See below.
JOJO: low pony
