BACKSTAGE: Momentum Performance Group
Welcome TO YOUR AUDITION!
Momentum is for students who are looking to expand their skills through focused training & additional performance opportunities. Enrolment in one of K2K's Junior, Intermediate or Senior Company is required to participate as well as an audition for entry.
Audition material will be given for each student to prepare to the best of their ability. Memorization is encouraged. Parents are also included during a portion of this time to learn more about the vision, expectations and details. Additional rehearsals & performances will take place Nov 24, 25, 28, 29, Dec 2, 4, 5, 6.
Momentum Performance Group will be performing Dare To Dream. This is a musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible.
We will bring together the beloved Disney heroines—Belle, Cinderella, Moana, Rapunzel, and others— while sharing courage, identity, and hope.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, Hebrews 6:19
Just as God created each of us with a unique purpose, the characters in Dare to Dream discover their calling through trials, dreams and each other.

Auditions - Follow these 5 Steps:
I. Select your Student Audition Date & Time (select Parent date too):
II. Save the Date! and arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
August 7 or August 11
Location: 800 Juliana Dr, Woodstock | Woodstock Christian School
III. Rehearse Song & Sing without Accompaniment, "When You Wish Upon A Star".
Be prepared to sing as a large group, small group and as a solo.
IV. Prepare Dance. Follow along as a mirror to Maddison, the choreographer. Be prepared to perform in a group & with additional movement taught during audition.
