"You Are The Magic — A K2K Christmas!"

Limited spots AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPATE

Rehearsal Tues Nov 22 - see below | Parade Sat Nov 15 | 5:15PM - approx 7:00PM

GROUP 1:  Ages 7-9 years |  FLOAT RIDERS


These students will ride on our float and bring the festive spirit to life!


✅ Wear their red K2K program shirt over a sweater/hoodie (dress warmly)
✅ We provide reindeer antlers or Santa hats
✅ Students will wave to the crowd and sing along to our K2K Christmas Parade Playlist

Perfect for students who love being part of the fun and staying cozy on the float!


GROUP 2: Ages 10+ | FLOAT CHARACTERS & DISNEY WALKERS


These students will be assigned a character based on size, fit, and interest.  Possible roles include: Ursula, Olaf, Elsa, Sven, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Giraffe, Mufasa, Bruce the shark, Nemo, and more.


  • Junior Co students must commit to a rehearsal Nov 11, 6:45-7:15pm
  • Senior Co students must commit to rehearsal Nov 11, 6:15-7:00pm


✅ Students dress in assigned Disney character costumes

✅ Walk distance of parade without issues
✅ Must sing along to the songs throughout the parade
✅ Add “dramatic flair” when their song moment hits
   — Example: Olaf during “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”


These roles are high-energy and filled with theatre magic.

GROUP 3: Ages 13+ | WALKERS WITH SIGNS & BANNERS


These students will help lead the parade energy all along the route.


  • Junior Co students must commit to a rehearsal Nov 11, 6:45-7:15pm
  • Senior Co students must commit to rehearsal Nov 11, 6:15-7:00pm


✅ Wear their program shirt (red, blue, or purple) over a sweater (no hoodie out back of shirt)

✅ Walk distance of parade without issues
✅ We provide Santa hats or reindeer antlers
✅ Sing along to every song to spread the joy!


Walkers help carry:

  • K2K / VISTO banners
  • Poster signage promoting upcoming shows

Once parade details (arrival time, location, and pickup instructions) are finalized by the City, we will share everything you need to know.

Arrival – Saturday November 15th – 5:15 pm at the Woodstock Fairgrounds 
Finished By: Approx. 7:00 PM at Victoria Park/Buller St, Woodstock

🎶 MUSIC & CHOREOGRAPHY

Recorded tracks will be posted Backstage so students can practise at home.
An adapted version of our “You Are the Magic” choreography will be provided for walkers (except those carrying signs) and rehearsed on Nov 11

🙋 VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED

We are looking for a few parent/team volunteers who can:


  • Decorate the float 9:00am at Adams Building Centre, Parkinson Rd, Woodstock


AND / OR


  • Sit on the float with Group 1 (safety supervision) - no legs dangling over the float
  • Support our staff team whenever the need arises
  • Walk alongside Groups 2 & 3 to ensure spacing and safety
  • Wave enthusiastically, sing along, and help us keep the Christmas magic alive
  • purchase a K2K program shirt for $15 to wear while walking or sitting on float, if you don't already have one
