Box Office Role

Assist K2K's Hair & Make Up Coordinator with applying make-up touches or designs, curling, or braiding hair, attaching wigs, or accessories and ensuring each student is prepared for their call time before each dress rehearsal & performance. Training is provided prior to the first dress rehearsal to ensure health & safety is in place and character designs can be achieved for each actor. Once completed, volunteers will clean, dry and tidy stations (between shows) or pack supplies and strike work area.

WHAT TO EXPECT

·      Please arrive on time and proceed to Kids Auditorium upon arrival

·      Receive instructions upon arrival and wear name tag

·      Students will be brought to Hair & Make Up to ensure what they have is complete or receive additional applications. Volunteers are not to enter dressing rooms at any time; and should remain in Kids Aud until role is completed

·      Use only the products and applicators provided

·      Following instructions provided, clean, sanitize and tidy workspace before exiting Kids Aud prior to show

ROLE

·      Meet as a team to review the vision for each character as provided by Hair & Make Up Coordinator

·      Working within your comfort and skills, apply make-up or provide hair styling to students upon their arrival

·      With the guidance of K2K leaders work within the comfort of each student and the hair & make up recommendations

·      Refrain from taking any photos or videos at anytime
