Theatre isn't only something we create. It's something we experience.

One of the best ways for young performers to grow is to see other performers on stage. Watching live theatre exposes students to different approaches to acting, singing, dancing, storytelling, costumes, sets, lighting and more. It can spark creativity, inspire new ideas and help students discover new possibilities.

Group theatre outings will give K2K students and their families the opportunity to experience theatre together beyond our own productions. We hope to see a mix of professional, community and youth productions, giving students the chance to learn from other performers, cheer them on and become part of the wider theatre community.

Just as importantly, these outings are another opportunity for K2K families to connect, make memories and build friendships outside of regular programming.

How It Works

Group theatre experiences will be organized by K2K parent volunteers.    For each selected production, we will offer one group date and share the details with K2K families.  Participation is completely optional.    Our goal is to select shows with storylines that are suitable for everyone, but please use your own discretion before joining. 

• Group ticket availability and pricing will vary by theatre and production.
• When available for the selected performance, a group booking price will be offered.
• Families are responsible for their own transportation to and from the theatre.
• All students must be accompanied by an adult and parents/guardians are responsible for their children during the outing.
• We will make every effort to have the entire group seated together, but final seating arrangements will be determined by the individual theatre.
• Payment must be received by the posted deadline of each show to guarantee seats
• All tickets are final sale
